There is a lot to unpack here, and way more then a similar worlds comment can explain.
Why Christians and Muslims hate each other, in general, starts with key differences in the sacred texts and how they are interpreted, and what happens to people that disagree with the accepted interpretation. There are great articles about it, and countless books, but it comes down to who we think Jesus really is, the Trinity, and what actually happened on the cross.
Most religions do not treat blasphemiers well, and not very tolerant, at least at some point in their history. Most of the animosity comes from these issues.
As for what consitites the "Holy Land" and who owns it and who gets access to it, and who's allowed to live there or visit there......that's way more complicated and nuanced to actually have a meaningful conversation about on this site.
OK. Couple of quick questions. Why does Islam promote women covering their bodies? Why does the global majority believe believe homosexuality and abortion is morally wrong, sharia law should be the only law and those who support sharia believe that anyone who leaves the religion should be executed? So much love, huh? What Christianity, Judaism and Islam have in common is that each of them believes they are the only true religion. And you're an enemy if you're not on the same team. That will NEVER change. Because if it were to change, the cornerstone of religion which is "us vs. them" would dissolve the religion.
Look, the British and then the Americans divided India and Pakistan so that there would always be a US backed enemy near India, and to use sectarianism to prevent socialism in a united India. The entire Muslim world has been targeted this way by the West. You do get it! You need empire to prevent socialism.
@Yassmeene It's all propaganda. Religion is always about fear, hate, and feeling superior to others. I've never in my entire life noticed Christianity has anything to do with the teachings of Jesus.
