Palestinian death toll rises to 1500.

This in a few days of bombs and missiles into civilian areas. This is before the ground offensive starts and before or the health system collapses. Two things that are about to happen.

This is likely to result in tens of thousands of deaths and many more due to starvation and disease. This is before we get to life changing injuries, which will be tens of thousands again.

I'm not shedding a tear for the Hama's fighters who targeted civilians but I am for everyone else. If a whole population must be made collectively responsible for the actions of their government then, well I deserve to die. By logical extension, I must be responsible for the Iraq war, Brexit and all the poverty caused by Tory austerity policies.

Do we value all lives equally? If we do, then we should be all be condemning the actions of the Israeli state.

@specman Yes, especially in an area of land locked down by Bibi, with 2 million people.

Its population density of 5,500 people per square kilometre (14,245 per square mile) lies in stark contrast to Israel's at about 400 people per square kilometre (1,035 per square mile).

@JSul3 I guess the Palestinian’s that were celebrating the attack on Israel were celebrating their own death too! Palestinian people condoned Hamas or they would have been rising up and protesting, but no they stood by them.

@specman No doubt there are 'some' who back Hamas. (Some in the US back Trump, but are they the majority? No.)

@JSul3 They originally accepted Hamas or they would have rebelled. Now they claim all this when Israel started kicking ass . Plus war is hell.

War is hell, that's why after WW2 the Geneva Convention was held and rules of engagement were created. It is a war crime to target civilians. Both Hamas and Netanyahu are guilty.
