I think about it often, amongst other people and situations. I was thinking about them today because my sister is sponsoring a child and has intentions of helping her come here when she's 18. I was reading her profile. She's a beautiful little girl😔💙
I also saw this today and my heart broke for them. Nearly 100% of those eligible, aged between 26-54, applied for these permits. This level of employment competition is extremely unethical and an unsustainable way of living and this doesn't even scratch the surface of their everyday hardships.
Just because the voices about what's happening have lost their volume, doesn't mean the suffering has stopped
