Visit to Dutch Countryside

We left the ship at 7:30 to get a headstart on the trip, ahead of the other tourists. I am exhausted, but it was worth it.

Driving along in the bus, we would look out the window and see just expanses of color, when we eventually got close, they were all tulips.

The workers were out in the fields looking for diseased or mutant plants and dripping roundup on the bad ones, to kill them:

No trip into the Dutch countryside is complete without at least one windmill:

We also went to the museum of Dutch auctioning, that will be in another post

Some other tulips for those that look a little soft.
