I have a white coworker who claims to be a radical Mexican nationalist

He has his van covered in Mexican flags. He says that one day an army is going to come across the Rio Grande and reclaim all the territory that the US stole from Mexico. He is straight up white, complete with blonde hair and blue eyes. What do you think causes things like this?
