I wouldn’t mind visiting some areas like the Yucatán region and to see the pyramids etc. To many cartel problems and fake police in Mexico. The fake police love to shake down tourists. Would ruin the travel experience even if there weren’t cartels there.
@cherokeepatti Malicalco is a bit off the beaten path and avoids mutch of the glitz of more popular tourist places. We visited about 10 years ago, very peaceful and isolated.
