Awww buddy....hah.
Back in the day when I was in the military and stationed in southern Cali, we would sometimes go down to TJ to wander around, and go to the Calliente horse races. I didn't have a clue what I was doing in betting, but I usually made enough to keep myself in hotdogs for the afternoon.
That's all gone now I understand.
Today? No 'effin way I'm going over the border with the cartels shooting and grabbing people to hold as hostage for money. Don't count on the police force.....they work for other people bud. Take it to the bank.

@BeJeweled I love Mexico…never Hawaii, always Mexico. I know Cabo is much different. I have gone to Cabo for the past 25 years. I love the people, I love the food, it’s becoming very commercialized but still love it. I am going for 10 days Oct 10th …I go for the scuba diving and on occasion, fishing. I just don’t stay in Cabo, I go to San Jose, Cabo Pulmo, and La Paz. It’s all good. Love the food off the street vendors.

@Canicu69 Border state resident here. Be pleasant to the locals. Ask about areas to avoid. Situational awareness. Leave your weapons on the US side. The locals hate the crime too. Better yet, take a flight to a city in the interior. Aguas Calientes, Guadalajara and Monterrey are lovely and a lot safer than border towns.

@Crazywaterspring great advice. After 25 years visiting Cabo, Cabo Pulmo, and La Paz. We have many local friends in Cabo and enjoy each and everyone of them. They know what is going on in their neighborhood
