I went to Italy and while their food is amazing, Italian food here in the U.S. is as well. The one thing that is absolutely better there than in the U.S. was their gelato. It was just out of this world!!!!! 🤤

I personally actually don't think it's as good as people make out it is. The pizza is too tomato-y and the pasta is bland. The dessert and chocolates are great tho

I feel like I've had better Italian food outside of Italy. Sacrilege, I know.
