Boat Tours & The Blue Grotto:
The bright and calm conditions make it an excellent day to take a Capri and Blue Grotto Tour (weather and sea conditions permitting).
Anacapri Chairlift:
Head up the chairlift to Mount Solaro for panoramic views of the island and the Gulf of Naples.
La Piazzetta & Via Camerelle:
Enjoy a midday espresso in the bustling central square before browsing the luxury boutiques.
Gardens of Augustus:
Take a walk through these botanical terraces for iconic views of the Faraglioni rock formations.
We both chose to wear sundresses and sandals for the short flight ✈ and the transfer from the airport was not too hot and sticky as it’s a little cooler here in the Naples area of the country, the heights of the surrounding hills probably providing the perfect shelter for the locals.
The hotel is quite beautiful and accommodating for us, and we have decided on full board so we can limit our expenditure and thereby reduce stress and maximise the relaxation we both want.
We are now just wearing bikinis and enjoying our immediate surroundings on the island.
