After an argument with his wife, a 48-year-old man set off on foot and ended up walking nearly 280 miles (about 450 km) across Italy to clear his head

He walked for a week from Como to the Adriatic coast, averaging around 37 miles (60 km) a day. His journey ended in Fano, where police stopped him at night. When questioned by police, the man explained that he had traveled entirely on foot without using any form of transportation. He said strangers along the way offered him food and drinks, adding that he was fine and only a little tired.
