Tim has never been to Jerusalem before

He is in the midst of a profound realisation that he is walking in the roads that Yeshua once may have walked in. He is subdued by his thoughts and the experience of being where the Messiah once was two thousand years ago!

I had a similar moment when I first came here as a child when my grandmother first moved to our original homeland (as Jews). With all the other difficulties or dynamics of our modern being in this land, it was originally given to Abraham’s offspring by the Creator in the times of Joshua who had succeeded Moses as leader of the people of Israel. For thousands of years Jews have lived in this land, and under various regimes have we sought to prosper.

The modern state of Israel 🇮🇱 was guaranteed us by the world powers and eventually we took our lands back gradually since 1948. The people who were here were given their rights in the lands east of the Jordan river, in what then was called Transjordan, but which is known today as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. 🇯🇴

What the "world powers" as you state gave was a strangely configured parcel of land. You can argue all day on who has the better claim of right to "ownership" but the attempt to obtain by force parts of the ancient land is what keeps the war going on. If there is ever to be peace, some deal has to be made about the land that is under dispute. Whether a 2 state answer is possible is debatable, but something has to put an end to all the fighting.
