Did wild outdoor hemp patches slowdown wildfires?

When hemp grew wild prior to human intervention and demonization I’m betting wildfires moved far slower through patches of hemp. Furthermore when considering the spread of violence in Israel the tribes of Abraham might fight less if smoke from wild hemp and cannabis were to float into the cities from time to time. The Native American tribes would smoke a Peacepipe to avoid conflict. Maybe wildfire cannabis smoke was the inspiration? Everyone just needs to chill out!
Also cannabis bud burns very slow reducing the speed of brush and wildfires as well as human conflict.

You've never seen a wildfire burn have you ?

EVERYTHING in its path burns.

Everything.

@OogieBoogie it burns slower than brush wood and other kindling maybe it’d spread slower. Look my point is nature had built in safety mechanisms prior to humans interfering
@jehovaoh.... I see.

The thing is - i think that fire is important in nature.
- its needed.
- its an essential part of forestation and renewal.

There are some plants that need fire to open their seed pods.

Fire opens up forests and stops them becomming overgrown and rot spreading.

It puts nutrients back into the soil.

I think fire IS part of nature's natural safety mechanism.
Its why these days we do controlled burns - we do it to imitate nature.

Its part of the whole life cycle of a forest 🤷‍♀

@OogieBoogie I agree fire is a natural mechanism in ecosystems too. And the ecosystem lost its natural balance by human intervention long ago. Wild plants no hydroponic systems (for food) which remove water from the water cycle of nature and/or effecting the spread of wildfires Hemp and cannabis illegalization is only 1 example of human interference.
