Not sure why, I don't think I've ever had a negative interaction with her before but I'll post my reply here to view if she does want to unblock me one day.
I have a certain lens into the Israeli attitude because Singapore too is surrounded by well, I'd not say hostile countries, but our early past has shown them to be unhappy with us and we have been threatened by them before. Singapore is a multicultural island predominantly Chinese at the tip of a Malay dominated Archipelago.
Back in the sixties recognising that Singapore was in a bind should a war happen, we instituted conscription in 68' and requested that Israeli's train our nascent armed forces. I think Mdm Golda Meir was in charge then.
