Is Israel plotting to drag the US into a World War with Iran to deflect from its genocide Gaza?

@Ozymandiaz I am afraid so: the "winner" of a war is often the one who loses the least, but the idea posed in the heading question does not stand up to logic even by international political standards.

Not only hardliners in the government of Israel though: I'd say the same as the "settlers" illegally building homes on Palestinian territory.
