Is Israel plotting to drag the US into a World War with Iran to deflect from its genocide Gaza?

@StygianKohlrabi Proximity matters greatly. It's a serious regional power with a relatively big population. It's geography makes it near impossible to invade and it has excellent defenses against air strikes. They also have plenty of people prepared to die for their country.

I don't think for a second that they could conquer Israel but they can create a lot of problems.

Also, Israel has nuclear weapons and Iran probably does so it's really not a situation anyone should hope for.

@StygianKohlrabi I'm sorry but please think about what you said. The implication is that you don't care about masses of people dying because of their race or religion.

@Burnley123 oh I'm not saying what should be done because I don't have all the answers but do you really think in a few hundred years anyone would care when they kicked this thing off with all their barbarism? whether or not Israel was treating them fairly beforehand.

@Burnley123 Yeah I think the moaning and hand wringing are just a movement based on temporary insanity that will disappear eventually. while Israel may indeed be acting reckless I don't judge because I don't have the burden of being a soldier.

@Burnley123 because borders change for many reasons. whatever your particular deep seated hatred of Israel may be, the events of Oct. 7th led directly to this war and it will become more and more clear. did all Germans support Hitler? no but they all were dragged down with him.

I just don't think that Israel is any more justified or better motivated in killing tens of thousands.
