Iran closed all internet access

I just read this statement, so our lack of hearing from Soosie does not mean anything bad has happened.

Access to the Internet is 100% controlled by the government and they can shut it off anytime they want.

However, Iran is a large country that shares a nearly 1,000 miles of border with Iraq, so people still get access through cross-border access. Just don't get caught, because the penalty could be a quick execution.

The part of Iran that border Iraqi Kurdistan has better access, because the Mullahs secret police does not like to venture into Kurd-controlled areas.

@Northwest Apparently, they must have some way to jam the local access as well. The article i read said it was sure that 99% was cut off.

99% was cut off.

That about covers the habitable area along the border. Jamming can be done in small areas and os a double edged sword.
