IF Iran's Nuclear Program Has Been "Completely Obliterated"....

....is there any need to try to force negotiations by continuing to attack? It seems to me there is not. If they try to reconstitute the program just hit them again. It seems to me we should be using PSYOPs and covert operations to help the Iranian people overthrow the Islamic Government. Now that they have Starlink perhaps they can more effectively coordinate their efforts. And of course the US and Israel can provide military assistance as needed to pave the way.

For Gos's sake no boots on the ground and use military strikes sparingly. We don't want to set the region ablaze.

The US is not continuing to attack. Iran refused to dismantle their nuclear weapons facilities. Trump gave them 60 days, and they ignored him. The world does not need a nuclear Iran, so Trump acted. The issues between Iran and Israel extend beyond atomic capabilities. Israel is already over there, on the ground gathering intel for their strike forces. Once the ability of the regime to shoot missiles at Israel is destroyed, and all the Iranian Guard thugs eliminated...Israel will leave.

@TexChik I wouldn't be so sure we won't attack again. We have a not very bright unpredictable president who doesn't listen to anyone.

@MoveAlong The itch in his pants has more sense than you do. Unpredictable? He campaigned on the idea that there would not be a nuclear Iran. Obama and Biden tried to create one. Who was Trump supposed to listen to? He is the leader of the free world. Everyone in the region wants Iran broken. The IRGC stated that Iran was in complete non-compliance with their nuclear agreements. Iran had the choice and chose destruction.

@TexChik Yes, unpredictable.

@MoveAlong Maybe for you, he did exactly what I would expect him to do.

@SunshineGirl Clearly, the author of the post has not considered that. The reason we have military bases in the Middle East is that the neighboring countries are afraid Iran will attack and invade them.
