In case you all don't know and already cheering for US airstrikes towards Iran thinking it is the end of a war.

IAEA and satellite damage assessments haven't even confirmed destruction levels.

Most experts believe conventional strikes delay and degrade the program, but are unlikely to eliminate a deeply rooted, underground, and dispersed nuclear infrastructure like Iran's. The sites will likely not be deeply enough damaged to affect any potentially existing nuclear assets.

And no one knows the status of uranium stockpiles, especially near weapons grade materials or where..

Because of potential nature of surface facilities there will likely be radiation exposure and local casualties.

Which I know almost none of you care about. The lives of Iranians don't truly matter to Americans. Especially judging from how many of you were already celebrating civilian death for days now.

And Iran will use that to continue and legitimize the war Israel has started and many of you foolishly supported.

Think about how all of this makes it very reasonable and consolidates the necessity for other countries to develop nuclear weapons. International law is a joke and the only guarentee of defense is owning powerful nuclear arsenals already.

Negotiations with the US themselves are a facade of offensive military intent. Diplomacy is a waste of time and no trust can be built with the US.
The ability to make global decisions independently of Israeli influence is next to zero.

Nuclear weapons should be completely banned.

@greensnacks Notice that Netanyahu is never in favor of eliminating nukes.

The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW):
Israel has consistently voted against UN General Assembly resolutions welcoming the treaty and calling for states to sign and ratify it. In 2023, Israel stated it has "deep reservations" about the TPNW due to both substantive and procedural concerns, arguing it fails to address security and stability context and doesn't establish customary international law.
@JSul3 yesterday I saw a video where it was explained that if Iran has nuclear weapons, the region would be much more safer, and it could possibly annex Palestine, Syrian, Jordanian territories etc. And that's not good for Israel, so they oppose it.

She further on went to say the thing we all know, they want to justify a regime change (for their strategic goals) and keep it unstable for the same purpose.

Furthermore, it's the same "pitch" they used for bombing Iraq, and they never found any nuclear weapons.

I need to read more about this. I hate politics, but it's important. Life and death important.

Also, the fact biblical stories and religions are used in justification for war, (things they have been using for millenia) literal myths and fantasies, in this age and day, it's amazing to me.
I see people commenting it's promised land and protected by God. No Sara, it's not. It's protected by giant countries and fictional books.

The more I learn about all of this the more I want to cry. Same with African countries and what the white is doing to the world. Leaders of destruction.

Just want to say that I hearted this because I read it, not because I agree with everything in the comment.

Many of the points are things I am still to make a conclusion about, Iran contributing to regional stability being one.

The ruling party in Iran might eventually turn against Sunni groups like always.

But yes, it is mainly a threat for Israel. Let's not forget how Hamas came to exist. It was the fear of unity under a single party and this fear being a motivation to support a new faction was disclosed by Israel officials themselves at the time. A singular power is always harder to get rid off.
@Miram thank you for ur comment. I'm learning very much now and I'm appalled of many things about politics.

@greensnacks We have Christian zealots cheering this on because they can't wait for Armegeddon.

@Miram There was a time that Netanyahu celebrated and supported Hamas.
