Ever met someone from Iran before?

I feel like Iran is one of those obscure mysterious countries that have a negative reputation worldwide. The Iranian people I met in Dubai were nice & hospitable. Also their food rocks. Sooo delicious. I like their music too. I must add that their men are handsome & manly af. Lol

Anyway here’s a song I like

Yes lol i have had Iranian Neighbors and i live in a NorthEast area if LA with mostly Iranian And Armenians and alot are mixed versus the lastnames "Yan" which pure Armenian and then "IANs" are mixed with Iranian but i seen some straight Iranians and alot dont like Iran, and have negative things to say about it. And many talk about escaping it like they were in a horror movie. I even aeen a movie a girl showed me from there how an American white women married a dude from there and moved there & how bad it was lol I even know a Canadian Dr chick online who hates it and despises it and her parents left for a reason.

Its not a negative reputation women should not be stoned and beaten and hung for things that do NOT happen here normally lol the place is the last place with a strong economy surprisingly that practices that weird stuff. I hope that country does fall and someone rebuilds it and they live normal not weird. But I never met an ugly Iranian women they bomb lol

Yeah the current regime is brutal. They stone men to death too but for women in particular it seems like a suffocating environment. Politically & religiously, Iran is a very closed country but the people I met did not reflect that. On the contrary, they were welcoming and curious about the world

Never, I just listen to podcasts of people who love Iran and always sing praises on people living there. 😀 They say that people are very hospitable and visitors are sacred to them. Allegedly it's a cultural thing.

They are. I wish it was a more stable country with no war threats and less strict about dress code for women or I would have visited @CrazyMusicLover

I think we often confuse the politics of a nation with it's people

Those I saw were hawt. Many were tall with strong builds, full beards and striking features. They look similar to Greeks I’d say. Also most men act desperate around women tbh lol
