@Serkan I’ve only passed through Lilles once, on the train back to England. I’m told it’s beautiful. I was twenty three.

Paris, of course, is their city of love! I kissed my first gf there at seventeen. And took my wife there at fifty.

Have read Hemingway’s movable feast, which describes an earlier time/
