Paris got rough at times but I personally found the French to be incredibly warm and hospitable. 馃槍

@Pfuzylogic true.. but they are not "Nice"
PfuzylogicM
@MoonMoon
I found some very generous people.
I went there in 1984 and 2001.

@MoonMoon I think they are pompous and very independent people. It is the same in Quebec. It's in the french culture. That's just the way they are!! There is good and bad in every culture though.

@caesar7 i am not sure you understood the map right...

@caesar7 @MoonMoon
Paris is up and down in hospitality. They speak money there for the most part. Although there were adult women holding hands in public, mothers and daughters. I think that the strong Catholic culture supported that.

@MoonMoon I am just answering to your answer stating that they weren't nice. I am franco-Ontarian and my family relations in Quebec are very different than me. They are very much like the French. Same culture and independence. You might not see them for years and when they see you, they react like they just saw you yesterday. That's just the way they are. Very indifferent. That's just the way they are! Can you imagine being an anglophone going to the province? It's not always pleasant judging from my English friends. LOL

@caesar7 yeah... now i am pretty sure you didnt catch the joke here... "Nice" is the name of a french city... right there....

@MoonMoon True. But OK...whatever.
PfuzylogicM
@MoonMoon
I now get the joke.
There has been a long prejudice in the U.S. of the French being cold.
