I’m Pro gun, because look at England they took away their guns in 1997 and now they get arrested for a tweet

An armed populous keeps the government on edge. And we need that, because overtime the government erodes more and more of our liberties.

A government on edge is also more likely to shoot people in return though.

For what it's worth however it's actually very easy to get hold of guns in the UK provided you're a) actually British, b) not mad or a serious criminal and c) have a half-decent reason to have one. (Handguns are, generally, illegal though I'll grant but not in Northern Ireland actually. Though it's also perfectly legal, if properly licensed, to own all kinds of ridiculous weapons like tanks if you can actually get your hands on one).

And self-defence isn't a reason to have a gun in this country because you don't need it for self-defence because generally no one is going to break into your house with a gun in the first place. I think we'd all rather be imprisoned for a "non crime hate incident" tweet than shot for one.

@Persephonee you’re thinking like a slave

I've got a king not a master, thanks.

@Persephonee that’s even worse

@Ferise1 Aren't you Australian? He's your king too.

Besides, I would trust the king over any one of the neocapitalist apparatik monkeys that play at politics in Parliament. The king is on the people's side. It's politicians that are the problem.
(Though I'll admit maybe he only is because he can't do much politics).

@Persephonee yeah ask Australians how they feel about that
And I’m also Swiss

@Ferise1 The commonwealth thing is a bit weird though it's probably also cheaper than everyone running elections for a head of state that doesn't do much anyway...

Ah now the Swiss approach is ideal!
