They like to claim that they are not racist
. Agreed. They also like to claim there is no racism in the UK.

Yet they are the very same people who are afraid of "becoming a minority in their own country".

You have to ask why...

@wishforthenight I'm poking the bear these days. Since Farage has Belgian residency, it's fun to point out that he's a bleeding foreigner coming over here to take over the country, and he needs to bugger off back to his own country.
@HootyTheNightOwl His wife is German, and he has been educated privately. He is working for hedge fund managers and big business, exactly the same as the Tories and Labour.

@HootyTheNightOwl We could do a lot worse than joining the Green Party, honestly.

But you make valid points about Farage. However, unless something drastic happens regarding Labour policy, Reform are almost certain to form the next government UNLESS, and it's a HUGE unless, Labour overhaul the voting system and introduce Proportional Representation, or at least the first-choice second-choice rankings they're thinking of reinstating for the mayoralties.

This would allow Reform into government while forcing them to significantly blunt their agenda.

@wishforthenight There's still the hope that enough people are watching what Reform are doing in the councils they do have control over to see that a Reform government is a bad idea.

In Derbyshire, they closed 5 adult education centres in some of the most deprived areas - 2 days before the public consultation on it even closed.

Now, the problem with that is that DWP is funnelling the unemployed through adult education centres with the belief that they all need some sort of English and Maths qualification to make them look more attractive to Amazon or WeCleanAnyBusiness.com. Yes, that's what your taxes are paying for when the unemployed are forced to attend "job clubs" - that and for them to attend some office in some city to sit at a computer for an hour or two looking through Indeed.com for jobs that they haven't already applied for last week.

Oh... and, even Aldi saw that coming, they bought in a system where further applications are bounced out if the applicant applied for another role less than 2 years ago. You can't even flood them with applications to shut up the DWP.
