is society deteriorating

society in the west i mean, as that's all i care about, me specifically i'm from the uk....and i'm no expert but from what i see it just looks like society here is decaying, there seems to be a lot of problems now out there, in the news etc.

Yes, for now: it gets better, then gets worse. It is an endless cycle thruout history!
