Can the English handle the queen's death a bit more like a soap opera? ~

There is breathless coverage of Megan Markle and Kate Middleton catfighting, whether or not Harry and Megan were invited to some party, and Harry and William wearing some gaudy and ridiculous military uniforms when neither one is actually, you know, in the military. What's up with all this hullabaloo? Will some of you Brits please explain?

No one cares or watches the tv or reads about them other than older generations and, still ,a part of that demographic. And ig anti monarchy fanatics who obsess as much as those who endorse the family

@PepsiColaP If no one cares, why is it all over the news media, even here in the US? Seems like you are either underestimating it, in denial, or both.
@RedBaron ok,be angry

@PepsiColaP Who’s angry? I’m just asking. Nothing to be angry about.

@RedBaron Most people dont care despite what the media tell you.

@Entwistle There have been some big crowds outside of Buckingham Palace for most people not caring. Five or six people you know do not constitute "most people."

@PepsiColaP Hmmm, "no one cares"? Apparently the line-ups to see the Queen lying in State are up to 24 hours long so obviously some people seem to care, in fact a lot of people seem to care based on the crowds shown on TV News lining the streets just to catch a glimpse of the hearse driving along... I'm not a fan of the Monarchy but it's kind of difficult to ignore the obvious 😖

@RedBaron Millions of people arent queuing up. We are a nation of nearly 70 million people.
The huge majority are not queuing up.
