More Politically Correct madness

The lunatic fringe are on the march again!
The York Dungeon had a ride named after Dick Turpin, an 18th century highwayman. Now some PC - or Woke if you prefer - lunatics are demanding the name is changed to the Richard Turpin ride, because the name Dick offends them.
Are people really so stupid?
Evidently they are.
It's time the sensible people of the world ditched these PC lunatics and returned to normality.

The real stupidity is on the people who get upset about non stories and flim flam, designed to distract attention from the real problems in this country. And boy, do they fall for it! If only people who get upset and angry about tripe like that get angry about important stuff, we would have real progress. But I suspect there will be more dead cats thrown around....

All I'm saying is these stories you see in the paper are not to be taken seriously. As someone else said, it's a cheap way to raise publicity for the Dick Turpin thing. No need to get so wound up about it. People jumping up and down screaming "political correctness gone mad" are just too funny to take seriously.
