My grandmother was born in the Czech Republic. She came to the U.S. as a child in the 30s.
My friend sent me one of those funny videos where you can "paste" your own face onto a famous character's face in a movie clip. She had pasted my face onto some old movie clip, and my first thought was "Why do I look Ukrainian?" 🤔🤣 Then I realized...well I kinda do have eastern European genetics! Lol duh

This reminds me of a news article which I only saw the headline for. Apparently there's now an AI app that you can put old photos in, and it will animate the person. So if you put your grandma's face in, she'll start moving her head around as if she's alive. Bit morbid though, if you ask me.
