@newjaninev2 No. It works like this. If you want to buy from Temu now it will cost you 34% tariff to land it in America. Or 10% tariff to land it from Australia. Leaving me 24%😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I assume you've done the numbers around freight costs to and from Australia, import/ duties and taxes for landing and exporting the goods, and the very real potential for Australia to become enbroiled in a rapidly spreading tariff war (free-trade agreements notwithstanding)

@newjaninev2 I was being sarcastic: However. just about everything I buy from China does come with free delivery and deliever door to door can be as little as a week. While I more or less gave up buying from America. delivery takes forever and costs a bomb...😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Chinese items are cheap quality 3rd Grade except a few companies. I would not buy anything from China except Huawei

@DanielsASJ All trumps merch is made there. and 25% of your American made cars.Its not the poor quality that makes Chinese made cheap. Its cheap labor and massive volume. But they do make for the mass market, Not the bespoke, craftsmen build..😷

@DanielsASJ True. Now think back to US made articles of the 70s and 80s.. Some is built in obselescence. Some was just poor quality..😷
