Why does China keeps getting blamed for viruses?

What did China ever do to the world? Is it jealousy due to China's reputation and competence?

Well, for starters, Chinese labs are just as sloppy as Chinese manufacturers. Cheap, shoddy work is one thing if you are buying a pair of flip flops...but it's another thing when you are doing level FOUR containment work with viruses inside a Level TWO containment lab. Yes...Wuhan for starters. I shudder to think what else they have going on over there.

@4meAndyou I would first visit to see for myself but I wouldn't know level 8 from level 1 as am no expert.

@Sazzio The Chinese certainly would not allow you to visit a virology lab...no matter what level containment it was.

@4meAndyou With full authority and full protection, yes. As he a teacher (part of science ) he had to make a MANDATORY visit to a virology lab. Hazma suits, doors with spraying water on exit to one room to another (NOT department, but room)! You name it, top of the arts full protection for the entourage. Obviously, not any oldbody can visit.

@Sazzio That was a Level 4 contamination lab. They store things like Ebola and Marsburg virus in such labs.
