Visa isn't progressing.

In two days I'll go into meditation. I'll have no phone for 10days, we ought to leave it at the entrance and take it when exiting.
I'll get out without money or visa for China and I have to change my return ticket now, because I'll have no phone and since it can only be changed up to 48 hours before the flight, and I booked it for a day after my retreat.
It also can only be changed once...I don't know what to do.
If they won't give me a visa, plan is, to go and try from another country, Vietnam or South Korea perhaps? Thailand? Indonesia? I'm confused...

@Menetics yes it's delayed because of a paper they're asking but my shifu can't find. They didn't ask about that the previous times I renewed my visa.

@being That’s what I meant :o Didn't they have extra copies of important papers? You can travel from HK to Macau. It’s only a ferry away.

@being I think they’ll only look at what type of visa you hold entering HK or China and you’ll get a visa on arrival :o Macau is not that strict. What paper is missing exactly?

@Menetics again, I'm not worried about the Macau visa or Hong Kong visitors' visa, but what I'm aiming for is a long term student's visa to China. That's a little more tricky
