@Jm31xxx to my understanding china has been giving all their research to other countries to aid. I'm unsure if they hid it or just tried to control it on their own. Either way its out now and we have to do what we can do.

@boredintexas Am sure, those close to Houston and those in Austin have more apprehension ... all respect the safety measures ... but I only hear "let's get back to work"

@questionWeaver everyone wants to work thats obvious. However, if its not safe to do so, we shouldn't. Period!. Major cities are hurting, I'm in San Antonio. I get it, I really do, but I can assure you everyone out and about are not all " essentials"

@boredintexas it is about taking acceptable risks ... as long as NY and NJ are kept quarantined ... the risk (probability*Impact) to the other 3000 counties in America is low, while the risk of not working is high .... many Texans are behaving in that fashion .... and it will rapidly rise over the next several weeks

@questionWeaver Dont get me wrong, I'm no mask/ glove wearing person super afraid! However, I think we should stay where we are unill things plateau for a bit. It will spread if we open up. We are already not following this shit as a whole. People need to chill.

@questionWeaver I get youre a right wing guy, thats fine. Mortality rate is a little up in the air at the moment. Adverse reactions to it are not so much. We dont know how long they last and if they could be permanent. I'm young and in good health. There's a good chance of no got it, that id be okay. My concerns or are others that could be harmed. I care about my fellow (fuck Americans) HUMANS! We are all dealing with this.
