@Tukudo but China's cases are diminishing. More recovered cases this week than new diagnosis and so far in China under 3,000 deaths out of a population of ~1.4 billion.

If I was the guy supposed to be in charge of that as a population control measure I wouldn't be expecting any congratulations it's a very poor result.

@SW-User the usa is already testing a vaccine on it. The drug companies here see lots of money in this

@Darina but in perspective it's not a mass killer contagion. Over 80% have "mild" symptoms. Only 5% require critical care.

It's not far off many flu death rates per infection. Flu will kill over 20,000 in the UK alone this year.

They will be a vaccine hopefully in a year or so.

It really isn't something to worry that much about. Practice good hand hygiene you statistically have very little risk.

@ronisme1 but a vaccine is a vaccine so as not to get sick ... it's for healthy people

@Darina as Nunis has said, it has the same death rate as the flu. Only one strand of the 3 is a potential killer. And that is to the old and people with respiratory problems mainly

@Darina at your age you are statistically much more likely to due from an accident, an undiagnosed genetic condition, alcohol poisoning, or suicide. You don't worry about them on a daily basis. It's a media three ring circus show currently.
