What would america be like if china took it over?

I suspect not too much different at first. Remember its an economic takeover, not a military one. So you leave the locals in charge but control their budgets and stop spending on some things. If you want an example of how that works, look at East Germany under the Russians.. Of course, travel in and out would be controlled.
