Buy Canadian when you shop - Tip #1
Ever since US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Sputnik purposely sabotaged the Canada/US Trade negotiations last week in Washington, Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney has declared war with the USA - economic war that is, which the US is technically incapable of ever winning.
PM Carney is officially advising all Canadians to "Buy Canadian" anytime they shop for anything whatsoever. If the label says "Made in the USA", put it back on the shelf.
Chapman's Ice Cream of Canada stepped forward with major changes to their ice cream lineup. No longer will Chapman's be sourcing ice cream products from the USA.
Instead, only Canadian-grown products will be used in addition to products from other countries around the world EXCEPT the USA. From fruit to nuts to dairy cream, it either comes from Canada or it comes from some other non-US country.
