I want to canoe camp the backcountry of Canada in summer 2027

With it being below 5⁰ right now, hard for me to image being in the backwoods as enjoyable at the moment...

Also having to keep off wild animals from your little boys (the pup), I hope there will be more adults to scare off potential wild animals.

That is going to be quite the adventure. There is a massive "backcountry" in Canada. Did you have an idea where?
I have been up North in Alberta, BC, Yukon and NWT, and backcountry is just about anywhere outside a city.

I've heard the "Boundary Waters " are really good for that sort of thing. They can be accessed from the Minnesota side or the Canadian side.

I love canoeing, I haven't done it in a long time.
