I'm not saying they shouldn't, but didn't we have a big hullabaloo about how tarrifs are paid by the country implementing it, so it just raises prices there? Not that many Canadians are going to be adverse to paying more to not buy American, but how much of an impact will this be across all of their economy?

@dirge Interestingly, the Canadian economy has a lot of replacements already available for American goods, like multiple brands brands in a supermarket. In the US, for example, we import Moosehead and Molson beer. If Moosehead and Molson were banned by Trump, the American consumer would just drink another brand.

Well there is one commodity that Canada will lift the tariff on – crow . Trump will be eating tariff free crow from now on. Cheers!
