Or was he joking? From this Canadian's perspective there would be nothing stopping Trump from annexing Canada. Canada is completely dependent of the US for trade and protection. If Trump were to send in the US Rangers Canada could offer no resistance. Even the civilian population is completely disarmed.

@SpudMuffin You have no idea how bad Canada has become. It is completely defenceless. Canada recently declared martial law and the army didn't answer the call. The soldiers stayed on their bases. The government had to import 'police' from outside Canada to stop truckers from blowing their horns.
