@justlivinglife90 lot of things to do and you will find people who speak English as well.
justlivinglife90 · 31-35, F
@Sojournersoul I can’t wait! I had a Korean tutor who lives there and I became friends with him and his Russian wife, I am on Hello Talk and can probably meet up with a few people I’ve talked to, and I know a Korean whose going to get in touch with his family there who I can probably meet and get to show me around

@justlivinglife90 that would be great for you. Nice to have someone to show you around.

Korea, “Land of the Morning calm”, “Land of Heartbreak”.
justlivinglife90 · 31-35, F
@soar2newhighs never heard of that. lol why is it called that?
@justlivinglife90 Well I served two tours of duty there. I saw a sight one morning that gave credence to “ the morning calm”. 1950-1953 there was war on the peninsula. Many perished both combatants and non combatants. Is that not heartbreak?
As for the origin of these two terms I can’t say. But if you look them up, you may well find your answer.

@justlivinglife90 I was Air Force. I'm pretty sure there has a navel base in Turkey too. I spent a year in Korea. Seoul is hustle and bustle. But nice. Especially if you are interested in the shopping district or the club district. I spent more time in Songtan, outside the gates of Osan Air Base.
