Why do describe her appealing, as "alleged"?
I do not know if under Australian law an appellant hires the barrister or if that is a matter for the solicitor, but I wonder how many lawyers of either rank will be acting for her - and she does have that right of appeal.
Surely more likely, one solicitor to prepare her case, one barrister to advocate for her in the Appeal trial.
It seems odd to hire a "team" of solicitors and barristers, be it the fancy or plain variety.
Not only is that very costly. It reads more like the actions of an American corporation using its vast fortune to swamp the plaintiff in a civil case; than a single individual appealing a criminal conviction.
