If you're in Australia are you excited by winter and the Aussie ski season?

I've not seen snow and never had any interest in skiing etc mostly because it's something for the rich which I'm not. But I think plenty of affluent Aussies do get into it. What's your take on it from the Aussie perspective?

I only saw snow once when I went to Mt Hotham / Dinner Plains a few years ago.

Threadbo and other places are expensive in winter due to seasonal demand.

I prefer warmer weather and love here in Qld.

In a word.. No!!. Walking to school in my first English winter took the romance out of snow real quick. I dont wish to see it again..😷
Why do you think it's something that's just for the "rich"? Anyone can learn to ski, you don't need much money for that.
Anyway, where I am in Victoria, it's just raining a lot. No snow. ☹

@DLight The expense in Skiing is because of the short season in remote location that push the cost of accomodation and on site services through the roof..😷

I live in the deep north. Snow is just a vicious rumour.
