Apparently, our next Prime Minister will be an orange-haired clown who thinks that running a nation is no more complicated than running a fish-and-chip shop, if the latest opinion polls are anything to go by. I can understand people being really, really annoyed with our current crop of losers and thieves, but... please, not her! If she actually ends up winning in 2028, Australia will effectively be run by our very own equivalent to Elon Musk, which is of course Gina Reinhardt.
It is rather strange that just as the rest of the world is finally waking up to the danger of creeping fascism and rejecting it (ex. Orban's defeat in Hungary, the realisation by most Americans that Trump is a dangerous and corrupt fool), that Australia, once again being some ten years behind, is now embracing such lunacy.
