Fibre to the premises (FTTP) replacing FTTN and FTTC for NBN here in Australia

But I can't get it through my current retail service provider or even 'register' interest, and NBN co the network operator that replaced Telstra fixed-line services in my area in mid-2020 claims I can't look at ordering an upgrade (if I want to) until mid-2028.

So much for Australia getting 'world class Internet'.

@CreyvinMoorhead Ok you're doing stuff that's well beyond anything I'd need. I did run servers once (real Sun Microsystems and Cobalt systems) and used ISDN 2 for the primary connection before ADSL came along.
