Why are we protecting/supporting/promoting the interests of Israel and Jewish people but at the same time criminalising/vilifying the Palestinians?
Why are we protecting/supporting/promoting the interests of Israel and Jewish people but at the same time criminalising/vilifying the interests of the Palestinian people? Unless we as a country either ban/criminalise/prevent/restrict both 'camps' equally, we should openly support both camps equally instead.
I personally refuse to support Israel and Jews singularly when the other side is being politically and legislatively vilified because of one tragic event. Neither side has any legitimate claim to be elevated to a position of moral high ground in preference to the other.
Banning guns also is not the solution. Guns only have one purpose - to kill. Strong effective gun laws are important. It's the people who mis-use guns that are the problem. This is why we DO NOT EVER want anything like the US 2nd Ammendment 'right to bear arms' here. Think Martin Bryant. Think all US mass shootings. Think any war you like to name.
We need freedom FROM guns and religion (ALL religion, including all 'brands' of Christianity and 'fake religions' too like CoS), not freedom OF guns and religion.
