In Victoria Australia they built machete disposal bins at $350,000 each - so far not one person has handed over a machete
Apparently, there’s enough cash floating around to splash $325,000 each on at least 40 shiny blue steel bins – bins that anyone with a basic grasp of math's (or access to Bunnings - Lowes ) could tell you should cost a few grand max.

When they built a new school in a rural town in South Australia. They put up a sign saying the school was built with $1 million of government money. Actually it was the sign that cost that. Everything else was paid for by community donations...
The same bullshit happened for the Hospital that was to be built. $30 million. They printed out schematics of a different hospital somewhere only to be told to start again. That cost $900,000. They built that hospital for round about $10, million and wasted the rest. What did the town get out of it? A hospital that was back to front, and looked nothing like the plans, and all the plumbing had to be redone. And the Electrics are shit.
