Random fact - Amart furntiture here in Australia won't deliver orders on Sunday *or* on Monday - like wtf?

Nothing wrong with the company giving its staff a day off at the weekend, but no deliveries on Mondays does seem strange. Perhaps that day is devoted to loading all the goods for delivering.

I see no problem in the furniture being delivered on a Tuesday rather than Monday as both are normal delivery days and only one day apart - but of course it still needs someone at home to receive the goods.

I just bought a bed base from them. The stock in the online catelogue wasnt in the store. And I had Son in law and trailer to do the pick up. I did my best "Not Happy Jan" and they wrote down one they did have by $100 to close to the price of what I wanted. No one wants an old fart having a stroke in the store.😷

People in Australia don't deserve it
