@Ferise1 I am not sure how to respond. Where did you see them? Although, since we dont get ice and snow, we dont need to treat the roads with chemicals that rust out a cars body, so its possible for a care to last much longer here..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman it was in some city, I think it’s also sold due to economic factors, but in a sense that’s how I love Australia, old school, slow in technology but fast in human relations and social contacts, drinking beer and having fun

@Ferise1 Depending on the city, you could be talking about a rural hub, like Adeliade, Perth or Cairns.. Unlike America, once you leave a major centre, you can travel hundreds of kilometres to the next one with very few people in between. Contrary to your evidence, we have modern cars..BMW, Merc, All the major Japanese / Asian makes, and of course the $h*tbox US cars.. Even teslas are around. And maybe they make more sense here as rooftop solar panels and home storage batteries mean one can recharge the car free at home overnight..Its all very low tech...But my 2018 Outlander may be getting a bit outdated I guess. Still. The Japanese build will probably see me out. 😷
