@FreeSpirit1 Many of the Mayors opened their town and told the State to stay out.

@FreeSpirit1 The money they spent on enforcement of the lockdowns was ridiculous.
They even went so far as to go take all the basketball hoops down from the public parks.
The school district spent money on all these plastic dividers to keep kids safe but not bother to to consider the heating and a/c systems recirculating the air in the buildings.

Not serious lock downs. Albeit many businesses voluntarily limited businesses or worked around the limitations.
I say voluntarily limited, because they just didn't want to work around the limitations put in place on them. Claiming it was not cost effective.
This was absolutely not true.
Some businesses actually did successfully work around the limitations. And not only thrived yet stayed in business, while the ones that didn't, went out of business.
Of course customers went to the businesses that worked around the limitations. What else could they do? 🤷🏻♂
Other possible customers used the limitations as a excuse to say that there was a lock down.
This wasn't true either. No one was put in jail or even fined unless they refused to go along with the limitations. Aka masks or shots.

It was the best time to go to the lake and hang out. They did have a sign up saying to practice social distancing. We just brought lawn chairs and sat around anyway.

Yes. Absolutely ridiculous restrictions. They turned people against each other. Blue states were worst than red states.

Lockdowns were pretty brief here all things considered.
The far right here are competing with MAGA for dumbest people in North America. They tried to shut down the capital demanding an end to lockdowns that had ended in Ontario several months before.
Almost like it was not about lockdowns.....🤔

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow because you think you're automatically correct because my opinion doesn't fit your narrative you sir are the issue. The restrictions were lifted conveniently during tourist season when more tax dollars are spent not just where I live but across the entire country. Brought back in after tourist season across the entire country and then completely removed the next spring.
I believe COVID is real. I bet you believe the government is always right.

@Justafantasy No. I am correct because facts and reality matter.
You claim you believe covid is real yet you started this post spreading a conspiracy theory that it is not. Interesting choice.
I don't believe the government is always right. I believe facts and objective reality matter are more relevant than personal feelings about a subject.
