Largest Feral Camel Population in the World is Located in Australia

Taken a week or so ago on the Nullarbor. They are culled to keep the numbers under control and exported back to various Arab States as these camels are disease free. (Don't ask) Occasionally you find the meat available for purchase in various butcher shops or supermarkets. Not bad and relatively lean.

Not as strong as I thought. Slightly gamey, leanish beef like, made a great roast. Would go great in slow cooked curries.
