Anyone know what the deal is with these protests in Australia?

I seen a few social media posts (videos) popping up about freedom rallies or something, but other than that I haven't found much news coverage...

Unemployed drop kicks looking for things to do waiting for there next welfare cheques to arrive
They have taken to laying on train tracks to stop trains, roads to stop cars etc
Personally I think a law should be introduced for drivers to run them over look at the money the government can save to welfare payments

Is this current. We had some of the harshest COVID lockdowns in the world - people were setting themselves on fire

And people have also been protesting vaccine mandates

It isn't mandated for children to be vaccinated but there is a lot online at the moment about people dying after taking the vaccination

So this doesn't look anything out of the ordinary to me
