Another One Bites the Dust

Czech Tennis player, Renata Voracova has had her Australian Visa cancelled and been put into hotel quarantine in the same hotel holding Novak Djokovic after being granted and entry visa supported by Tennis Australia. It seems that like the Joker, she failed to meet the standards of the commonwealth Visa requirements.
Its unfortunate for the girl, who has been playing in a lead up tournament. And it rather strengthens my earlier point that if Djokovic had not stirred up public opinion with his graceless tweets before arriving, its possible this could all have stayed buried. 😷

And in the next exciting episode, it seems the smoking gun has been found. A letter from Tennis Australia. (Tournament organisers) to all players, saying that if they had Covid in the previous six months, this qualified them as fully immune. This information is incorrect. That has NEVER been the federal governments position . The Federal; government has always held that unless you have a genuine medical reason for not being vaccinated, no jab, no entry. Now I have always regarded the head of tennis Australia with some suspicion. But I cant prove a thing other than his willingness to throw the weight of his organisation around to get what he wants previously. But this does sort of sink Djokovics case in court. He's too late to get vaccinated now anyway.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I haven't read the 'smoking gun'report yet. Doesn't surprise me...nothing does. If that is the case Tennis Australia are incredibly naive...

Djokovic's people are just as bad, they should know Tennis Australia has nothing to do with our border controls.

The Deputy Prime Minister speaks up
Barnaby Joyce had little sympathy for Djokovic’s situation, telling the BBC: “If he hasn’t filled out the forms appropriately then he’s taking the sovereign capacity of another nation for a joke.

“He’s got to understand you’ve been graced by God with a certain talent but that certain talent does not rise above the sovereign rights of other nations.

“If you wander off into our country and don’t tell us the truth, we’re going to kick your arse out of here as well.”
@KiwiBird And it seems like Craig Tiley from Tennis Australia is showing some of his cards. Declaring that the Oz Tennis open will not be viable without unvaxxed players.. Now it circumstantial. But seems to me a good motive to try to slide one past the government.
Meanwhile. Back at the ranch. The Joker is up to his old tricks, demanding a personal chef to prepare his meals. "Request denied."
